Cancellation Policy
At Lotus Healing, I understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a charge of 50% of the treatment cost.
If you do not attend your appointment without giving notice, your booking deposit will be forfeited and you may be asked to pay 50% of the treatment cost.
A 25% booking deposit is required to secure your appointment. This deposit will be deducted from the remaining balance of your treatment.
The remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment.
I understand that genuine emergencies and unexpected circumstances can happen, and these will always be considered with care and understanding.
Late Arrivals
At Lotus Healing, each appointment is given dedicated time and space, and I want you to receive the fullest experience possible.
If you arrive late for your appointment, your session may need to be shortened so that the next client’s appointment is not affected. The full treatment fee will still apply.
If you are running late, please contact me as soon as you can. I understand that unexpected delays can happen, and I will always do my best to accommodate you where possible.
If you arrive too late for the session to go ahead safely or meaningfully, the appointment may need to be treated as a late cancellation.

Health, Suitability and Client Responsibility
Your wellbeing and safety are important to me. Before your first session, you may be asked to complete a consultation form and share any relevant information about your physical health, emotional wellbeing, current medication, pregnancy, recent surgery or other circumstances that may affect your session.
Please let me know about any changes to your health or wellbeing before future appointments. This allows me to consider whether a session is suitable for you and whether any adjustments may be needed.
Some treatments or aspects of a session may not be suitable for everyone. If I feel that a particular session is not appropriate at that time, I may suggest adapting, postponing or not proceeding with the session. Where appropriate, I may recommend that you seek advice from a qualified medical or mental-health professional.
Lotus Healing offers complementary wellbeing and healing practices. Sessions are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, treatment, medication or support from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. Please do not stop or change prescribed medication or medical treatment as a result of a session without speaking to the relevant healthcare professional.
You are encouraged to listen to your own body and communicate anything you need during a session. You can ask questions, request an adjustment, decline any part of a session or withdraw your consent at any time.
By booking a session, you agree to provide information that is accurate and relevant to your safety and understand that your experience of healing work is personal and individual. No particular outcome or result can be guaranteed.
Age and Young Person Policy
Lotus Healing welcomes adults and, where appropriate, young people. The suitability of a session will always be considered carefully, taking into account the young person’s age, individual needs and the type of session being offered.
Anyone under the age of 18 will require consent from a parent or legal guardian before a session can take place.
A parent or legal guardian may be asked to remain present for all or part of the appointment, depending on the young person’s age, the nature of the session and what feels appropriate for everyone involved.
The young person’s own consent and comfort are also important. Even where parental or guardian consent has been given, a young person will never be required to participate in a session or continue with any part of it if they do not wish to.
Any physical contact, including the placement of singing bowls on the body, will be explained beforehand and will only take place with appropriate consent.
Sessions for young people are complementary wellbeing practices and are not a replacement for medical, psychological, psychiatric or other specialist support.
If I feel that a session is not suitable or that a young person’s needs fall outside the scope of what I can safely and appropriately offer, I may decline, adapt or postpone the session and recommend that appropriate professional support is sought.

Refunds and Treatment Outcomes
At Lotus Healing, each session is offered with care and is shaped around you as an individual.
Healing and wellbeing practices are personal experiences, and every person may respond differently. While many people experience benefits from their sessions, no specific outcome, change or result can be guaranteed.
Payment is made for the time, space and session provided rather than for a guaranteed result. Once a session has taken place, refunds will not usually be offered simply because the experience or outcome was different from what you expected.
If you have any concerns about your session or experience, I encourage you to contact me so that we can discuss them openly and with care.
If Lotus Healing needs to cancel an appointment and an alternative date cannot be arranged, any payment made for that appointment will be refunded.
Professional Boundaries and Scope
At Lotus Healing, I offer a gentle and respectful space for healing, self-exploration and wellbeing.
The sessions I offer are complementary practices and may support relaxation, emotional wellbeing, self-awareness and personal exploration. They are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure medical or mental-health conditions, and they do not replace appropriate care from a doctor, mental-health professional or other qualified healthcare provider.
I will always work within the boundaries of my training, experience and current qualifications. If I feel that something falls outside the scope of what I can safely and appropriately offer, I will be open about this and may suggest that you seek support from another suitably qualified professional.
The relationship between practitioner and client will always be treated with respect and appropriate professional boundaries. You are free to ask questions, express concerns, request changes to a session or choose to stop at any time.
I reserve the right to decline or end a session if I feel that it would be unsafe, inappropriate or outside the boundaries of the work I offer.
My intention is always to create a space where you feel respected, heard and able to make your own choices about your healing journey.

Consent and Touch
At Lotus Healing, your comfort, choice and sense of safety are always important.
Some of the healing sessions I offer may involve hands-on healing, while others can be offered without physical touch. Before your session begins, I will explain how I may work and ask whether you are comfortable with hands-on healing. You will always have a choice.
Some sessions may also involve the placement of Himalayan singing bowls on or around the body. This will be explained beforehand, and the bowls will only be placed on the body with your consent.
Consent is ongoing throughout the session. You can choose not to receive physical touch, ask for hands-on healing to stop, decline the placement of bowls on the body, request an adjustment or change your mind at any time. You do not need to give a reason.
If you prefer not to receive hands-on healing, I can work without physical touch. Singing bowls can also be placed and played around the body rather than directly on it.
I will always ask beforehand and work with care and respect for your personal boundaries.
Your body, your boundaries and your choices will always be respected.
Aftercare and Integration
Some healing sessions can feel deeply relaxing, while others may bring emotions, memories, physical sensations or personal insights to the surface. Every person’s experience is different, and there is no right or wrong way to respond to a session.
After your appointment, you are encouraged to give yourself time and space to rest and integrate your experience where possible. Drinking water, eating nourishing food, spending time in nature, journalling or simply allowing yourself some quiet time may feel supportive.
Sometimes the effects of a session may continue to unfold in the hours or days afterwards. You may notice shifts in how you feel emotionally, physically or energetically, or you may simply feel relaxed and rested.
If you have questions or concerns following your session, you are welcome to contact me. However, ongoing or urgent physical or mental-health concerns should always be discussed with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Integration is personal, and you are encouraged to listen to your own body and needs rather than feeling that you should experience anything in a particular way.

Feedback and Complaints
At Lotus Healing, I want you to feel respected, heard and comfortable in the way we work together.
If you have any concerns about your experience, I encourage you to contact me so that I have the opportunity to listen, understand what has happened and respond with care.
Where possible, I will aim to resolve any concerns openly and fairly. Raising a concern will never affect your right to be treated with respect.
Feedback is also always welcome. Your experience matters to me, and thoughtful feedback can help me continue to reflect, learn and grow in the way I offer my work.
Any complaint or concern will be handled with sensitivity and appropriate confidentiality.
Confidentality, Privacy and Ethics
At Lotus Healing, your privacy is deeply respected. Anything you choose to share before, during or after a session will be treated with care, sensitivity and confidentiality.
Personal information and session notes will only be collected where they are relevant to your care, safety, booking or the service I provide. Any information you share will not be discussed with or disclosed to others without your permission, except where I am legally required to do so or where there is a serious concern about safety or risk of harm.
You are always in control of what you choose to share. You will never be expected to disclose anything you do not feel ready or comfortable to discuss.
Testimonials, photographs, videos or details about your experience will never be shared publicly without your clear permission.
Any personal information held by Lotus Healing will be handled with care and used only for appropriate purposes connected with your sessions, bookings, communication and the running of the business.
You may ask questions about how your information is held or request access to the personal information Lotus Healing holds about you.
